Time-Counter 13336'  [temporary title]

On November 5th 2017 I traced with a pencil a circle on a 3 x 3m textile inscribing the circumference of my body on the fabrics’ surface and I defined my space limit. The artwork will be finished only when the whole surface of the circle will be completely full of content. For this reason, the title of the artwork as the artwork itself is in continuous modification. 

The last count of the embroidered minutes captured on the textile is 13 336 minutes (counted on May 30th 2018), giving it the temporary title: Time Counter 13336’.

The artwork was exhibited during the LARNACA BIENNALE 2018 [Container - Content] in Cyprus from September 17th to November 30th. Venue: Myth_Factory

Il 5 Novembre 2017 ho tracciato a matita sul tessuto di 3 x 3m un cerchio circoscrivendo la circonferenza del mio corpo, definendo così il mio spazio limite. L’opera si sarà completato solo quando l’intera superficie circoscritta sarà piena di contenuto, motivo per cui il titolo dell’opera, come anche l’opera stessa sono in continua mutazione. 

L’ultimo calcolo della quantità di minuti ricamati sul tessuto somma a 13 336 (Maggio 2018) ha dato all’opera il suo titolo temporaneo: Time Counter 13336’.

L’opera è stata selezionata per LARNACA BIENNALE 2018 [Contenitore - Contenuto] a Cipro dal 17 Settembre al 30 Novembre. Spazio Espositivo: Myth_Factory
