Field of empty thoughts

Site-specific project for NAVATA34 (Jaguars' ex-showroom, Corso Sempione 34), during the FuoriSalone exhibition week in Milan.

Jaguars' ex-showroom was a huge open space of 1800m² divided into two floors. On the ground floor, there was a very long side corridor with five rooms that used to be offices. All five rooms were still decorated with the original green moquette, somehow quite romantic. Incorporated in the installation, the moquette became the base of a greenhouse where empty thoughts were blooming. The paper 'flowers' were placed geometrically to remind a sacred cemetery. The paper rolls numbered from 1 to 384 were placed in a grid of 24 x 16 pieces.
