Heimat. From Non-Places into the rooms of intimacy.

An archival diary with a non-linear chronological timeline + a photographic calendar.

Definition: Heimat > A German term without correspondence in the English or Romance languages. A possible translation could be “small homeland” or “native birthplace”, indicating the place where an individual was born and spent his childhood. The territory that feels like “home”, that Greeks call “πατρίς“. 

The collection of texts reflects on human fragmentation due to the limits established by society. Stepping away from non-places to approach rooms of intimacy. Heimat describes the possibilities of returning to an inner order and restoring it. Different parts compose the “one“ dialogue to underline hypothetical synergies, defining a ‘Secure Zone’, also called a transgression zone, where they will be free to act.
